If you want to repair sun damage, well the best thing is not to sustain that sun damage in the first place. However, if it’s already too late, which happens to the best of us, you can do something to reverse that sun damage to some degree. You won’t reverse any wrinkles that have already developed. However, you will be able to reverse some sun damage, which is more serious in the long run to be honest, and you can prevent more premature wrinkles from developing in general terms. This you can do by first of all using antioxidants and second of all using moisturizers. You won’t prevent actual aging in general, just premature aging, and frankly you won’t actually help yourself in other ways to reduce wrinkles that have already occurred. However, moisturized and antioxidant hit skin is brighter skin, more luminous skin, smoother skin, and otherwise less sun damaged skin. So while we would definitely prefer that you not sustain the skin damage in the first place, there are certainly ways to reverse it and otherwise deal with it in general terms. It is more of a matter of being prepared than anything else.

Repairing Sun Damage
Saturday, August 22nd, 2009Don’t Forget Your Hands
Friday, August 21st, 2009One thing I’ve noticed that people often forget about is their hands. An associate of mine for example actually uses all the best cosmetics on his face, and his face looks great, fine, good. But the problem is he has forgotten about his hands, which have subsequently developed wrinkles, age spots, etc. He didn’t even use any kind of lotion on them leaving them dried out to say the least. So remember your hands. There are specific hand creams that can increase the collagen and elastin production in that skin therefore keeping it young. But for most people, frankly speaking, you could easily get away with just using a good lotion. Lubriderm in fact, a brand you find at your grocery store, would be just fine. Anything you find at bath & body would be just fine. Those moisturize, and that is fine. You just have to remember to take care of your hands the same way you actually remember to take care of your face and other areas of the body in general. Otherwise, your hands will easily give away your age, and therefore you will not look quite as young as you want to or otherwise get quite the results you are looking for.
