The Truth About Argireline

Argireline, it’s one of the most popularly used peptides out there, that should actually tell you something.  It works of course, but the fact that it’s so popular means it’s cheap, and realistically it’s not really one of the best peptides currently available.  That’s just how it goes.  In the case of argireline, it is currently the only peptide we’ve seen that does not actually reduce wrinkles permanently or rather on a long term basis.  It is the only peptide that does not actually produce more collagen and elastin.  Instead, it actually relaxes facial muscles just as botox freezes facial muscles, making it the official alternative to botox.  They make a lot of claims about it to say the least, and frankly only some of them are all that valid.  You see visible results after about 4 weeks, which is like botox in some ways.  And frankly, it shows significant results.  The problem is that when you stop using it, you stop seeing results.  By this, I mean that it goes back to the way it was over time, because it has no collagen and elastin holding it up, and too much can cause facial sag plain and simple.  It’s not completely useless, it’s actually quite good.  The trick is just having realistic expectations and having another something to back it up.
